Raspberry Ridge Dog B n B offers both boarding and daycare for your canine friends. We are located in a country setting in the beautiful Beaver River Valley of the Sawtooth Mountains and our guests love all the smells and wildlife trails. It truly is heaven on earth for dogs. I know all the good swimming holes on the Beaver River which is only a short walk from my home. Lake Superior is just a short 3 mile drive if we decide to play fetch on the beach.
Your home rules are our rules during their stay whether it's for a week or a few hours. A get to know each other time is welcome and preferred at our Dog B n B. Please just be sure to call in advance to set up a time that we can all be properly introduced. All stays at Raspberry Ridge Dog B n B are by appointment only. If you have something come up at the last minute, just give us a call and we'll do everything we can to accommodate you and your canine companions.
Boarding
Are you planning your vacations and getaways for the year? Please don't forget to call us to plan your fur babies vacations as well. It's always time for vacation somewhere, so call early!
We're a boutique service and have limited capacity. I don't board a lot of dogs at one time and give consideration to the dogs temperaments, owners input knowing how they are with other dogs and my own experience with the breeds that will be staying. Of course, if I have any concerns, I will contact the other guest owners and we'll come to a decision to either blend families or not with preference to the first family booked on our calendar.
Your fur baby will receive massage therapy, daily walks and play time. Swimming is also available during the summer season. We provide services such as brush outs, holistic treatments to complement veterinary medicine, ear care and teeth brushing.

I'll follow your instruction for food, treats, leash use, medications and any other instructions you provide. Your home rules will be reinforced to ensure consistency for your dogs well being and yours! You can receive daily e-mails or Facebook messages about your fur babies day too.

I owned rescue dogs my entire life and as a result I am keenly aware of dog body language and behaviors. If you have commands that you would like for me to reinforce or if you'd like me to work with your dogs on new commands or behaviors, I'll happily do that during our time together.

In the past, my experience with loud, anxious barking dogs in kennels left me feeling anxious for my dogs and uncomfortable as I had to leave them knowing they were so stressed in that environment.

This concept of truly providing a loving environment with a little spa and exercise regimen came from my ill-ease when I had to leave my own dogs at kennels. I want to increase your sense of well being as you plan your next big event or your work/life calls you away.
